These socks are not waterproof. I’m sure they would keep water from going through the sock if you quickly walked through a puddle but any more exposure to water than that will leave you with wet feet. In fact, the sock kept in all of the water that went through the sock so you foot is just sitting in a pool of water until you pull the sock off. Do not but if you are expecting a sock that you could wade through a creek or stream on a hike.. you’ll be walking with soaking wet feet the rest of the way.It feels great. My husband and I wore these socks in our winter Europe travel. The socks were warm, not sweaty, did not feel bulky and did not bunch up . The seams were not felt in the shoes. Did not get smelly or stinky. Definitely kept us warm in rain and snow , very pleasedI use them for hiking, running and work. Life savers. They are great for just winter socks also. Even with water reppelant shoes. They keep your feet toasty. I wont need in the summer but should work great in spring. I hate wearing boots on cold days, so usually go with a water repellent sneakers. These have given me total insurance that my feet wont get wet.Well worth the costThese socks were good for what they said they were- they are fairly comfortable waterproof socks. However, one sock seemed significantly larger than the other, so we are trying to rectify this.Went hiking and brought these socks. Boots got soaked but my feet were completely dry. Great product.
